The idea for Topspin was sparked in 2024 and built around a simple belief: tournaments should feel personal, exciting, and community driven, not stuffy or transactional. Whether players are competing for gold, improving their DUPR rating, reconnecting with friends, or simply spending a weekend on the courts, the goal is always the same. Create events people cannot wait to come back to.
Topspin Tournaments combines modern event organization with a strong sense of community and energy. Every detail matters, from scheduling and communication to player experience and the atmosphere surrounding each event. The mission is to create tournaments that feel smooth, professional, welcoming, and memorable both on and off the court.

THE FOUNDER
Molly Cobbs
Molly Cobbs is the founder and driving force behind the player experience and operations side of the women-owned, Topspin Tournaments. A lifelong athlete, event enthusiast, and logistics-loving organizer, Molly brings more than 23 years of experience in project management, program management, customer service, and event coordination to every tournament.
Having participated in more than 150 sporting events as an athlete, volunteer, staff member, and director, she has experienced tournaments from nearly every perspective possible. That firsthand experience shaped her understanding of what makes events truly memorable and what makes players genuinely excited to return.
From scheduling and communication to contingency planning and behind-the-scenes coordination, Molly focuses on creating tournaments that feel smooth, organized, welcoming, and fun. She believes the best events are not only efficient, but personal. Players should feel informed, appreciated, supported, and part of something bigger than simply a tournament bracket.
Her passion for creating unforgettable player experiences is one of the foundations behind Topspin Tournaments. And yes, probably a few too many spreadsheets.
